Elephant Learning

Elephant Learning is an online mathematics system designed to help students quickly ensure their conceptual understanding of mathematics allowing them to understand the teacher within the classroom. The program covers counting through Algebra and starts with a placement exam. Students solve puzzles that early-age education researchers already know to be most effective at teaching the concepts. These puzzles have students exhibit the ideas while we label them, giving the teacher and students common experiences to speak about mathematics. We accept students of all ages and students start with a placement exam. The parent receives a dashboard that allows them to see what the student is working on and their level of understanding so that they can tailor the daily mathematics curriculum to the student’s level of understanding. On average, children in our system gain 1.5 years of conceptual knowledge over the course of 3 months using the system 10 minutes per day.
