Camp Merrowvista - American Youth Foundation

Homeschool Overnight Camp - March 7-12, 2027 - Homeschool Camp at Merrowvista Education Center At Merrowvista, our homeschool camp programs provide a supportive environment where participants build confidence, develop meaningful friendships, and discover the world around them through hands-on experiences and outdoor adventure. What Campers Gain Confidence and Independence Participants are encouraged to try new activities, take healthy risks, and challenge themselves in a positive, supportive atmosphere. Through our "challenge by choice" approach, children build self-confidence, resilience, and greater independence at their own pace. Meaningful Social Connections Homeschool camp offers abundant opportunities for friendship, collaboration, and community building. Through group activities, cooperative games, and unstructured play, campers strengthen communication skills and form lasting connections with peers. A Deep Connection to Nature From forest trails and waterfront exploration to outdoor skills and environmental discovery, campers develop an appreciation for the natural world through immersive experiences that inspire stewardship and curiosity. Curiosity, Creativity, and Discovery Freed from the pressures of a traditional classroom schedule, Participants have the opportunity to explore new interests, ask questions, and learn through direct experience. Every day brings opportunities for discovery, personal growth, and joyful learning. A Lifelong Love of Learning By combining adventure, exploration, and community, Merrowvista helps homeschool participants cultivate a sense of wonder and enthusiasm for learning that extends well beyond camp. Join us for an unforgettable experience where education, adventure, and friendship come together in the outdoors.
