The Vowel House is an online K–3 foundational literacy and structured phonics curriculum providing explicit, systematic instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, encoding, vowel patterns, spelling, sight words, vocabulary, multisyllabic words, and reading comprehension. The nine-lesson sequence covers CVC, CVCC, CVCe, Word Chunks, CVVC, Y as a Vowel, r-controlled Vowels, Diphthongs, Soft c & g with e,i,y and uses multisensory instructional strategies including movement, music, rhythm, rhyme, repetition, sound, and color coding to support student engagement, skill development, and how the brain learns to read. The program is designed for families, homeschool students, and learners who need additional foundational phonics and reading instruction. Lessons are delivered through an online student/family dashboard. No formal training is required.
