MAGNA-TILES

MAGNA-TILES is an educational brand dedicated to making learning fun through hands-on, play-based experiences for children with products designed for children as young as age 2 and continuing through the elementary years. For more than 30 years, educators and families have used MAGNA-TILES products to encourage exploration, creativity, problem-solving, and the development of foundational STEM/STEAM skills. Research conducted in preschool learning environments further demonstrates the educational value of MAGNA-TILES play, with children observed practicing communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.. In the classroom, MAGNA-TILES building sets can be used in many ways - from simple, open-ended building in free-play areas to intentional learning centers designed around specific skills, concepts, or curriculum themes. Educators can integrate sets into math, STEM/STEAM, literacy, dramatic play, and other classroom centers, giving children opportunities to learn through active, hands-on discovery. Through building, testing, problem-solving, and revising their ideas, children can explore concepts such as shapes, patterns, symmetry, counting, measurement, geometry, cause and effect, and early engineering and design. The open-ended nature of MAGNA-TILES also gives children the freedom to follow their own ideas, create something entirely new, or simply enjoy the fun of building. MAGNA-TILES products are designed to complement classroom, homeschool, and supplemental learning environments, with educator resources available to help connect play to specific learning objectives.
