About

WinnAero ACE Academies are all about aerospace career education (ACE) for students in grades 3 through 12. The elementary academies have 3 different themes that rotate on a 3 year schedule. Students in each session participate in the similar activities such as flight simulator time, an Orientation flight with a flight instructor, and activities to teach aeronautical concepts. Guest speakers and field trips are specific to address the theme of the session. The 3 elementary themes are: Introduction to Aviation; Aviation Weather; Airport Operations. The 5 middle school themes are: Aerospace Engineering/Manufacturing; Air Traffic Control; Emergency Services & Rescue; Girls in Aerospace and Space Academy. The 5 high school themes are: AeroMedical; Aerospace Engineering/Manufacturing; Pre-Ground School; Systems Tool Kit; and UAS/Drones. All instructors are current or have held NH teacher certification.
