Rupp Piano Studio

Rupp Piano Studio provides individualized instruction that builds strong technical foundations, develops expressive artistry, and nurtures a lifelong love of music. My lessons integrate music theory, ear training, rhythm skills, and performance practice to create well-rounded musicianship and confidence at the keyboard. I am a classically trained pianist with 40 years experience. I was a music major at Bowdoin College and wrote my undergraduate thesis on the use of vocal vibrato in early Baroque Italy. I have performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist, specializing in the works of Baroque, Classical, and Romantic composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff.
