Most of my music experience comes from the world of contemporary church music. In a church context, I am able to play guitar (acoustic, electric, bass), piano, drums, and sing. I also have a variety of experiences in other contexts such as musicals, show choirs, pop music, orchestras, choirs, and some jazzier music. I pull from all of my experiences to create a lesson plan for each student that lays a solid foundation of the basics, as well as exposes them to the variety of directions that they can go with music.
