Our Journey Westward LLC

Our Journey Westward offers nature-based science curricula for grades K–8 that blend academic excellence with curiosity-driven exploration. Families can choose from on-demand video classes through No Sweat Nature Study or downloadable parent-led teaching guides, such as Nature Study Made Easy and 40 Nature Walks: Science Labs On-the-Go. Each option encourages deep learning through creative journaling, hands-on activities, and real-world application. Lessons go beyond basic knowledge to build higher-order thinking skills such as analysis, comparison, and synthesis. All resources are designed to be flexible, open-and-go, and adaptable across multiple age levels. Secular in content and aligned with educational standards, they’re ideal for charter schools, co-ops, or home-based learning. With step-by-step guidance and minimal prep time, parents and educators can confidently lead meaningful science lessons. The curriculum encompasses a range of topics, including plants, animals, weather, geology, and more. Optional enrichment materials include booklists, experiments, and research projects. Whether you prefer video-based or hands-on instruction, Our Journey Westward makes science both rigorous and fun.
