Little Sparks Tutoring

Little Sparks Tutoring provides personalized educational support for students in kindergarten through 6th grade, specializing in reading, mathematics, and writing instruction designed to ignite a love of learning in young minds. Led by Melissa, who is Orton-Gillingham trained, our services are available both online and in-person (depending on location and availability), with flexible options to meet each family's needs. We implement evidence-based curricula including Number World for mathematics, All About Reading for literacy development, IMSE Orton Gillingham for structured literacy, and Heggerty for phonological awareness. Our approach is data-driven, utilizing aimswebPlus for benchmarking and ongoing progress monitoring to establish baselines, identify skill gaps, track student growth, and adjust instruction accordingly. At Little Sparks Tutoring, we tailor our services to meet each child's unique learning needs, helping them develop the academic skills and confidence they need to achieve their full potential and thrive in school and beyond.
