ivanpaulMUSIC (Paul Sullivan) offers music lessons at students homes or online. I have successfully taught students from age 5 through adulthood. The instruments I teach include: guitar, ukulele, set drums and bongos, while offering music theory as an adjunct. My background in Music, Psychology and Art, has placed me in a strong position to tap into each students learning strengths and abilities.
I leverage the latest research in neuroscience and learning to help students achieve optimal outcomes in music and beyond. Many studies have indicated that formal weekly music lessons can significantly improve a child's math and verbal scores, as well as executive functioning. Children with ADHD can greatly benefit from weekly musical training, which may help improve their performance in other areas of life.
